Who created this site? Parents of two children attending university. After paying enormous sums of cash for textbooks, we decided there had to be a better, cost effective method for students.

Is the site free? For a limited time POSTING is free. A $1.99 connection fee applies AFTER you have made a connection.

Is my personal information safe? Textbook-Connection does not sell your information to anyone.

What is a WANTS/WISH LIST? If you search for textbook and you find it isn't currently available, you may add this ISBN to your WANTS / WISH LIST. When seller enters the ISBN, you will instantly receive an e-mail & text message that your textbook has now been listed for sale. This is especially useful as you register for your next semester classes as this will give you a head start on finding textbooks at a competitive price.

Do book listings ever expire? Yes, but only if they are not renewed. Currently, after 30 days a listing can become inactive if you don't renew. We do this to help keep the database current and keep our maintenance down. Textbook-Connection has a built-in e-mail notification that is automatically sent out when a book listing nears expiration.

How do I update my user information? Click on MY ACCOUNT, log in if not logged in, then click on Personal Information. Next click on the appropriate EDIT field and make necessary changes.

Is there an email notification for new book postings? Yes, you can receive automatic emails when the books you want are posted. When a connection is successful you will instantly receive an e-mail and text message notification. To maximize your chances of finding the books you need, we recommend entering your ISBN numbers as soon as you know the required textbooks for next semester classes.

How do you recommend completing the transaction? After agreeing on the price, we recommend connecting to the other party over the phone to confirm the price and condition of the textbook. We recommend connecting during the day light hours in a busy/populated place such as library, lunch room, etc. It is also recommended to have a friend accompany you for extra security. Although it defeats the purpose of this website, you may also MAIL the textbook.

What if your database doesn't have my ISBN in stock? You may add the ISBN to your WANTS / WISH LIST and once the ISBN has been entered in by another user, you will receive an e-mail/text message alert that your textbook is now available. If you need the textbook quickly, our website will allow you to continue the purchase online via AMAZON direct from our site.

What if no one purchases my textbook that I have placed on your site?

You may contact TEXTBOOK-CONNECTION via e-mail with your ISBN & check if we're interested in purchasing.

Option 2: We're happy to sell your textbook online for a small commission.

Shipping cost to TEXTBOOK-CONNECTION via media mail is at sellers expense.
